Shin Donghee  was born September 28, 1985; and is better known by his stage name Shindong. He is a singer, actor, dancer, MC, DJ, and a memeber of Super Junior. In the past Shindong has been criticized for his large size, because there were many slim Korean idols. Bud despite his larger appearance, Shindong is known as one of the four lead dancers and the group's dance, choreographer; creating dances for the bandmates whenever they make dance performances. Shindong is also the rapper of the group and co-writes rap lyrics with the rest of his bandmates. 

Shindong debuted as a part of Super Junior on November 6, 2005, performing the group's first single. Due to Shin's name sounding similar to Dongae, who is also a member of Super Junior, Shin decided to use the stage name Shindong. He has proving himself to be of extraordinary talent to the audience despite his lack of an ideal idol appearance.

Since November of 2005, Shindong had been a regular MC for M.NET's M!Countdown, along with Super Junior members Leeteuk and Kang-In, who was replaced by Eunhyuk a year later. However, they ended that part on March 27, 2008. Shindong is also very active in variety shows and often gives guest appearances in Star Golden Bell, Dongan Club, etc. He was soon placed in the six-piece Super Junior sub-unit, Super Junior-T in early 2007. The group debuted on February 25, 2007 with their song, "Rokuko". In early 2008.

Car Accident; On April 19, 2007, Shindong, with fellow members Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun, and two managers, were involved in a big car accident. Unlike Leeteuk and Kyuhyun, who were seriously injured and were kept in the hospital for several months, Shindong and Eunhyuk suffered only minor injuries and were discharged from the hospital on April 23, 2007.
